Project: UNISA City West Campus Refurbishment

Brio’s Open Square Rail system for Timber was recently used in a refurbishment project for the University of South Australia’s Industrial Design department.  The exposed bearings and heavy duty hardware provided the desired commercial appearance the architect, Swanbury Penglase required.  The panels were dual purpose as room dividers and project display boards.  16 Open Rail panels and tracks were used in several clusters to achieve the desired effect.

The 304 stainless steel, face fix hangers will suit any contemporary interior and can operate panels weighing 150kg at 2m wide.  Our system is available in brushed stainless steel and in PVD Black making it a true stand out product.  Multiple guide options allow these large panels to operate with or without a floor channel and so interiors are enhanced with uninterrupted flooring.

Designed by Swanbury Penglase Architects , Construction by Harold and Kite Commercial builders.
